Doux de Coly 2002 / 2003

In August 2002 and 2003, the European Karst Plain Project (EKPP) team gathered at the Doux de Coly, the longest continuously underwater system now dived in the world. Their objective was to push the exploration of this system as far as possible.

Thanks to a dedicated team representing seven countries of Europe, and the application of the Doing-it-Right (DIR) method, both exploration projects were successful. The total explored length is now 5880 m. The last push dive required over 18 hours in the water, including nearly 8 hours of bottom time.
